These will always be the best looking modern vette IMO. It’s too bad the interior is the same as my pickup.

Every time I see one, I want one. Then, I think of the Top Gear episode where they are pushing the rear bumper and it bends like a crepe and I remember that interior...

But, that body and that engine... pure sex.

GM made no effort to hide where they did the cost cutting with the C5...but its cheap enough to buy (on the used car market) that I dont care for all the negatives.

Like you said, that body shape and engine are just too good :) Chassis ain't bad either

The biggest problem with old Vettes is the seats.. .even the C6 seats were notoriously crap for sporty driving. If you’re not picky on looks, getting two DOT-compliant sport seats shouldn’t be that expensive.

At that price level, everything else in the interior is relatively unimportant.

That’s why I have a Sparco in there now...but yeah, if you arnt gonna track the car, some Corbeau seats will solve that problem fairly quickly...

Sounds like I should wait then ;). But no I have my C4 and not really any extra cash to trade up. Plus my dream Vette is a C6.R, but since those are unobtanium, I will settle with a C6Z which will be in the pit of their depreciation curve probably by the time I am out of school and have the money to get one.
